| About NRGSL |
The North Richland Girls Softball League was established in 1983 and is responsible for Recreation and Select youth girls fastpitch softball programs at Walker's Creek Park and Fossil Creek Park. NRGSL provides a positive atmosphere to support and develop female amateur softball players. We are an instructional league at the 6U/8U age groups which becomes more competitive as players develop their skill sets in the older age groups. NRGSL works hand-in-hand with the City of North Richland Hills Parks and Recreation Department in order to provide the most rewarding experience for players, parents and fans. NRGSL, long recognized as setting the standard for organization and quality for girls fastpitch softball, begins it's 30th season in 2013.

North Richland Girls Softball League was started in 1983 with one field and a handful of caring parents. In the 30 years since then NRGSL has:
- Grown to be the premier fastpitch league in North Texas
- Expanded from 4 teams and 50 girls in 1983 to a high of 53 teams and 650 girls
- Expanded to seven fields including the new Walker's Creek Park complex
- Hosts nearly 300 teams a year for tournament play
- Hosts over 100,000 players, parents and fans annually |
