Aug 21, 2010 :: 6 game season plus top eight teams adavnce to a single elimination tournament
90 minute games
JV and Varsity Divisions
$325 registration fee plus $35 umpire fee/game paid at the plate
Includes VTD registration fee, no player fees for VTD cards
Game nights - Wednesdays and/or Thursdays (6:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.)
Generally, JV plays on Wednesday and Varsity on Thursdays
Target start dates Sept. 15th and 16th
No steel cleats

2010 Fall Recreation League online registration now open

Aug 01, 2010 :: 10 game season - Cost: 6U/8U -$65.00; 10U and up -$75.00, plus $10.00 late registration fee after 8/29. Games will begin September 25th and should finish by October 30th. Most games will be scheduled on Saturdays, but there may be some games on Mondays and/or Tuesdays. Possible interlock with Colleyville League.

Player draft will be held the week of August 30th. Returning coaches can protect returning players or bring your own team (some restrictions apply).

12U VTD Softball World Series Nationals - July 22nd - 25th

12U VTD Nationals NRGSL is proud to host the 1st Annual 12U VTD Softball World Series Nationals. Advance tickets can be purchased online using paypal. The first 100 advance Adult ticket orders will receive an admission ticket to tour the new Cowboys Stadium. Order now while supplies last!! (Advance ticket sales are now closed) Tickets ordered online will be available at the will call entrance. Please provide proof of purchase and ID.

Friday update: Pool games completed, brackets seeded. Top bracket finishers: A - Centex Buzz; B - Boomer Sooners; C - Texas RIP; D - T.N.T; E - Team Mizuno

Saturday morning update: Friday's 4:00 bracket games were interrupted due to rain, but were completed Friday evening. Saturday's bracket games will be played as scheduled. No schedule changes are required due to the rain delay. Teams still in the winners bracket: Freeze, Clash, D-backs, Sooners, Batbusters, Dirtbags, Blaze and T.N.T.

Final Results: Congratulations to the ths year's 12U VTD Softball World Series Nationals Champions - Boomer Sooners. Texas Dirtbags finish second and Centex Buzz takes third place.

Tournament t-shirts and programs will be avialable for purchase online. Details to be posted shortly.

About NRGSL

North Richland Hills Girls Softball League was established in 1983 and is responsible for Recreation and Select youth girls fast pitch softball programs at Walker's Creek Park and Fossil Creek Park. NRGSL provides a positive atmosphere to support and develop female amateur softball players. We are an instructional league at the 6U/8U age groups and becomes more competitive as players develop their skill sets in the older age groups. NRGSL works hand-in-hand with the City of North Richland Hills Parks and Recreation Department in order to provide the most rewarding experience for players, parents and fans. NRGSL, long recognized as setting the standard for organization and quality for girls fast pitch softball, begins it's 28th season in 2010.

North Richland Girls Softball League was started in 1983 with one field and a handful of caring parents. In the 25 years since then NRGSL has:
- Grown to be the premier fast pitch league in North Texas
- Expanded from 4 teams and 50 girls in 1983 to a high of 53 teams and 650 girls
- Expanded to seven fields including the new Walker's Creek Park complex
- Hosts nearly 300 teams a year for tournament play
- Hosts over 100,000 players, parents and fans annually
